Thank you, thank you, thank you for making something for me!  You’ll find some general likes and request-specific prompts below, but for every single one of these fandoms, the most important thing to me is that you enjoy yourself! If there’s a plot you’ve been dying to write which doesn’t fit any of these prompts, as long as it doesn’t hit a DNW I’ll be completely and totally happy.

A lot of my prompts are AU/canon divergence - I really, really love exploring how character dynamics would change (or not change) under different circumstances. This doesn’t mean I wouldn't be overjoyed by canon fic; really, anything looking at how a bond can grow, or fray, or snap, or mend, is fascinating to me. I like reading about what makes people love each other, hate each other, or both! 

Also, while a lot of these prompts are shippy, I would be just as happy with genfic; it's the relationships which interest me, whether they're romantic or not.

It’s a classic point-and-click adventure, it’s a tabletop role playing game, it's a murder mystery, it’s a pass/fail communist theory seminar, it’s the spiritual successor to Nancy Drew, it’s an hour long 4am voicemail from your estranged drunk uncle, it’s a fever dream, it’s Estonian, it’s $39.99 on Steam.

 

I requested any and I do mean any! I’m good with romantic Harry/Kim, I’m good with friends Harry/Kim, I’m good with don’t really talk post-canon Harry/Kim. I’m also totally into Harry/Dora, Harry/Jean, Kim/Jean, Steban the Student Communist/the Insulindian Phasmid - literally anything will make me happy.

(Also, the characters don’t need to be good people! Not saying you need to write them as monsters - I literally can’t make myself do a Fascist Harry playthrough lol - but I’m super interested in how they the people of DE are flawed, occasionally horrible people, but remain compelling protagonists.)

- Revachol starts whispering to other people, but unlike Harry they can’t handle its voices

- Cryptids! Too many eyes!!! Acele unearths a Cthulhu in the ice! Garte wakes up with tentacles!!! Ruby has borne witness to The Burning Truths and now so must everyone else...

- Why does Harry know so much about anal beads.

- Harry and Kim need to infiltrate the Homo-Sexual Underground; Kim is surprised by how much Harry knows about specific bear subtypes

- Harry and Kim’s fun and horrible adventures in BDSM

- This may be an insane thing to say but Soona/Ruby???? I think they could be weird together

- Canon divergence - Kim (or Jean or whoever) is called in to investigate a murder at a local high school, and the excitable, weird, still kinda hot in a greaseball way-gym teacher appoints himself their sidekick

- Frittte Girl and Acele both figure out their weirdass gym teacher is stupid enough to buy any excuse to get out of kickball, and bond over being the weird girls who smoke underneath the bleachers instead

JWQS is a baihe enemies to lovers (who are still enemies) webnovel by Please Don’t Laugh. It’s a million words of court intrigue, identity porn, and horse girls. You know that “my terrible wife who wants to kill me so so bad” post? Welcome to JWQS. This animatic trailer sums it up and also is perfect.

- Canon divergence where no one is killed, they both grow up fine, they both have their families and the futures their families wanted for them, they are whole and happy and nothing is broken… and then their betrothal is announced.

- What We Do In The Shadows AU where Qiyan is Jingnu’s familiar…. but also a vampire hunter :0

 - Bad ending AU/prison era - Qiyan was the one who taught Jingnu that revenge must be achieved at any cost. Hate and want and love left festering…

Gu Mang, Mo Xi

Yuwu is a danmei by Meatbun (also known for 2ha, which takes place in the same universe). It’s an epic military/political romance about betrayal, devotion, longing, and just like stupid amounts of pain in all senses of the word. People do horrible things to each other and do horrible things for each other. It’s fun!

You can read the original on JJWXC; the English translation has been taken down, although Meatbun has confirmed that it’s been officially licensed! (And you can still find it floating around if you know where to look)

- Ok so you know how Yuwu was originally a story-within-a-story about a cop who finds his dead best friend’s xianxia RPF of them. (au extras!!) I guess that’s the whole prompt   

- Bodyswitching! Or bodySHARING or telepathy dear lord, I think this would be sexy and/or fraught during any of the book arcs (and also the defector era ohoho)

- Honestly anything from the defector years

- Mo Xi is captured by the Liao army?

- Mo Xi captures Gu Mang during the confrontation?

- Mo Xi actually dies, only to come back as a revenant who yearningly haunts Gu Mang? Many horrible possibilities 

- 2ha au (or I guess it could be canon if certain people time traveled?) I can’t decide which one of them getting the flower would be more devastating, although Mo Xi would kill it as an attic wife

- Outsider POV where all the students are like “why are the old men so weird and horny and fond”

Han Joowon, Lee Dongsik

 

Beyond Evil is a South Korean mystery cop drama. It follows the investigation a small-town murder which echoes an unsolved case in the same town 20 years ago. The two detectives at the core of the series are equally obsessive in unique ways, both willing, occasionally eager, to go beyond the law in the pursuit of justice, and revenge. They also talk really close to each other's faces, like, a lot.

 

Beyond Evil is available on Netflix in the US (possibly other countries), and Google can point you towards other places to watch 🏴‍☠️

- Joowon is sent to investigate a ship whose entire crew has vanished… except for Lee Dongsik, who was in this exact same situation 20 years ago  

- Outsider POV of whatever JWDS have going on because like, objectively they’re weird, even in the universe of the show nobody else is stroking the other person’s cheeks with a gun while muttering vague murder accusations. I’d just love to hear a normal well-adjusted person’s experience of … all of that. 

- Priests…

- Disgraced priest Dongsik is tasked with saving the soul of lost little lamb Joowon…

- About to be ordained-Joowon keeps getting visited by a strange man who doesn’t really blink and always smells a little… sulfuric…

- Vampires…….

- Ancient baby Joowon reluctantly turning old-ass Dongsik

- Human Joowon demanding that vamp Dongsik feed on him in a time of need (pushing thru his mysophobia!!)

- Human Joowon trying to prove to the world!!! That Lee Dongsik is a vampire!!!! Dongsik is like haha what a strange kid (㇏(^ᵥᵥ^)ノ) 

- The entire series is the same but also Dongsik is a vampire

- Actor/rockstar/etc Dongsik is getting death threats and rookie detective Joowon is assigned to the case!! Or, up and coming idol Joowon's agency is unprepared for his sudden fame, and hires bodyguard Dongsik to babysit him! 

- Case fic! Either one of them getting way too obsessive and needing to be talked down (or goaded on...), interrogations, undercover work but make it sexy, "oh no we have to hide out in the safe house for a week whatever will we do to entertain ourselves" (create conspiracy boards)

- What’s it called when it’s a sugar baby but the ages are reversed. Salt daddy. This please

- Ummm anything to do with the age difference. daddy kink...

Again, what's most important to me is that you have fun. If you like the ~vibe~ of one of these prompts but want to springboard off in a different direction, or if there's an idea that's been burning in your heart and you need to get it out now - I promise you (as long as it doesn't hit my DNWs) I'll be happy.
